Web Copywriting Rates

Although I am highly qualified and experienced web copywriter my rates are reasonable. That's because I work from home and have low overheads. I also believe that small or medium sized businesses with smaller marketing budgets should still be able to benefit from top copy writing on their websites and in their emails.

Web copywriting rates and charges vary hugely from AU$25 to $250. I charge my work out at $125 per hour which represents excellent value for money for my clients. Skilled web copy writers like me who can write copy that sells charge a higher rate because they can write fast and their writing is effective.

Big advertising agencies charge out their copywriters at astronomical rates because they have high overheads and have to pay their staff even when they aren't working on a client project. As a freelance web copy writer you only pay me when I am working for you.

No Minimum Charge

I have no minimum charge so if you'd like to test by skills by getting me to write a sales email, one page of your website or an email newsletter you can. It will probably cost you AU$125.

For on-going jobs such as ghost blogging or writing online articles I will be happy to offer a 10% discount. If you use Mucho for your website design as well as your web copywriting you will also benefit from 10% discount on my usual rate.

If you prefer to use your regular website designers or search engine optimisation experts I will be happy to work with them.

I can charge out per website page, for a whole website, for an email or by the number of words I write. Most clients prefer a fixed rate for the whole job they are contracting me for.

Typical Cost of Web Copywriting for a New Website

I charge my hourly rate of AU$125 for writing 300-700 words of web copy. So a typical website with 8 pages of information will cost about $1,000. If you'd like me to write an email newsletter it will probably take an hour at a cost of $125.
